"I Will Jump if ..."

Here’s a paradox to this posting.
I will actually jump from the fourth floor of a building, if:

… the building was on fire and there is a slide from the window to the ground where strong-built firemen were waiting to catch me :)
… the building I was in was at the scale of 1:10 (which would reduce the height from about 15m to 1.5m)
… I had with me a parasail (still can’t afford trying it in real life)
… I suddenly got the courage to bungee-jump
… by jumping and dying I will make my life statement (inspired by Coldplay’s Rush of Blood to the Head: “I’m gonna buy a gun and start a war … If you can tell me something worth fighting for …”)

What will you jump for?

You know that song too...hee...

I will jump...
If I want to...
if it's about my ego.. I will jump if I want to :), no need of other reason...hehehe...
Someway, it's kinda stressful to live a life for other people... That's what I feel months ago and that make me really down... That's why recently I become a person that design with a lot contain of personal ego :)

but I still have faith in this quote.. "to love someone you have to be unselfish enough to give everything that you have to make them happy..." (you know my 5 in my precentation about my "recycled sculpture" :) )

so... I will also jump for them...

or... maybe if I'm really stressful and decide want to suicide...maybe I'll choose jump...hehehe...

ray,

be careful with the thought that you'll do everything to make other people (even those you love) happy. you can't make people happy because you can't control them.

sometimes you do something that will not make the person you love happy, sometimes you have to hurt them (and yourself) to make them learn the more important lessons in life.

ray,

i think ur point is live for other people...
but it's not mean that u hav to jump for other if it's not worth
it to make others happy.

not everyone will really get "happy" (real happy) with ur "jumping" act.

and 4 the question
..... "will i jump for u?" .....

=P
i dont think i will ms.dew.
hehee..
it's same if my mom ask me to jump for her.

i will ask,
why i should jump?
what for?
and what used to?
is it worth it?

and i will make decision from those answer of the questions.

ur beloved anonymous student =)

NO? you won't jump for *me*?? :D so what would you jump for? (even if no one asked you to) if you could answer this question, it could be very revealing even if you keep the answer to yourself :)

hmm... maybe you got me wrong...
I never meant to jump for them... I ever ask those kind of question and they never wished me to jump... In this case I will jump to save them if it will work someway...

Btw, nowadays I feel really grateful to be in the architecture department... in this dept I can learn to be selfish and self-oriented...hee..

Yes... I still can't hurt them and I really realize that it will do no good for them.. I'll try to hurt them if it will make them a much better people...

and... about bungee jumping... someway me and some of my friends think that it is one of the weirdest act to do... we think in this perspective...
1. You jump in your own will
2. You jump to risk your life
3. You jump to feel frightening...
4. YOU HAVE TO PAY FOR IT...

heee...
sincerely yours...

anonymous,
i still don’t know exactly what you mean, but it seems that you’re referring to the comment made by anonymous in comment #6 (there’s too many anonymous here!! can you use a nick name? :)). i think everyone will always get something different out of the same stimuli. we can be sitting in the same room, looking out the window, and we see different things. i can be talking about one thing, and you will be interpret different meaning from anonymous #6. it’s ok. what do you get out of it?
